What boost #s with 66???

I've had one since 10/12/04. Seems to work good so far. Spool up is very impressive I think compared to the 40 I had before. With 150hp EDM it will not go over 1200 pegged to the floor for miles. Add drag comp and it will still peg egts at 1500. It's wasted at 40 psi. Would like to go up in boost to see if it will cool any better but first want to get head work done. Anyone else running one of these and at what boost? Are the still efficent at that boost? Trucks around 500hp according to the math in 1/4 mile. They have since added the v-band clamp style to comp housing I noticed on web site. High tech guys are great to deal with too.

Guys remember that additional boost does not necessarily mean additional HP. A good turbo setup will create good cool boost and low drive pressure. I have decided that drive pressure is VERY important to making HP. I was able to make over 570 HP with a single charger @ 37 lbs boost.

Best bet is to get on a dyno and dyno the truck going up in boost until you reach max HP... ... .

i think it's bit more lagy then the killer b but it's a lot more impressive when it hits. i have an xcellerator box stacked with banks six gun and speedloader and 100hp injectors and level 5 transmission ats. I hope it can hold up i mean it seems to me that the killer b was fine at first too. But for now so far so good

difference in turbos from different venders

Been looking around on different sites and have seen that there are several versions of a (sled puller 66). Rip at Source auto. has a new one called cool-twist, ADT has one also with 66 comp. Are these the same turbo under different names. Any one have seen these others to compare differences? Anyone running one of these?

Call J. R. at Adkins Diesel Performance. He has a "new" turbo out. It is smaller then his 55 and spools great. Give him a call and see what he can do for you, he could even be a little cheaper then the htt turbo.
