Anybody tried running 2 airfilters?

Just curious if anybody has tried this. I don't have a bettery on the passenger side of the engine compartment so I have the room to play around a little, and I have an extra AFE filter laying around here. I don't see how it could hurt anything, just curious if anybody has tried it already though.

Not running out of stuff, but running out of money, figured this would be a cheap upgrade since I already have the filter. I know what the turbo flows, and I know roughly what the AFE flows, and they are not close to each other. Figured it is worth a shot to try anyhow.

It would be pretty easy to fab a split pipe. If you already have the filter, I say lets start fabricating!

Class-8 trucks have been doing this for years...

Granted, they run 6" or 7" intake piping and HUGE externally mounted filters...

All they do is 'y' 'em both into the same compressor housing inlet, though.



I did see a PSD with two BHAF sized filters... can't remember where, though...
