looking for an 01 or 02 4x4 with manual trans but nobody ever wants to sell and if they do the trucks either way past its prime or priced the same as a common rail. anybody got one for sale WITHOUT a 53 block. thanks

RustyJC, an old TDR member who hasn't posted much in years recently posted that he has a 2011 on order. Rusty has a very low mileage '02 HO six speed dually. I don't know if his truck is 4x4. You might PM him if you are interested.

I am not interested in selling, but you have me wondering what my 01 HO 6 spd is worth. Not 4wd, but only 50k miles still has original tires and batteries. Plan on pulling my 32 ft fifth wheel across the state for a camping trip tomorrow.

Yikes :

Just a heads up CWade.

Be sure to check those tires over. My wife's uncle rolled a truck due to a old tire's catasthropic sidewall failure due to the tires age. Additionally, I just replaced 4 pontoon boat trailer tires which looked new on the outside but were cracked to the cording on the inside. I had put a tire dressing on the outside sidewall but didn't on the inner side because it was difficult to get to. These tires were only 5 years old.

I don't know about your wife's uncle truck tires, but if your boat trailer tires are ST tires, which most likely they are are, are only good for 3 years no matter how much thread they still have. This is according to the ST tire manufactures. ST tires are made in China and are mostly junk tires. You'd be lucky to get about one year out of any ST tire. I hope you replaced them with American made LT tires, which are good for 6 years.

Also, tire dressing accelerates sidewall cracking and is not recommended.

I have your truck that you want. 86,000 orginal miles. This truck is in perfect cond. Call me 623-238-3810. Too many options to list. Always garaged. You will NOT be disappointed . Gary

I need to step up to a dually for my next trailer, so mine is available. I don't have it for sale actively, but give me a shout if it interests you. 92k miles and you can see the mods. Another California cream puff! Only off-road it's ever seen is pulling a toyhauler to the sand dunes. I can get more pics if there's anything you want to see, not a speck of rust anywhere and the frame/axles/undercarriage are still painted like it came from the factory.

It's not a 4x4, but it's in the TDR classifieds.

We were in Williams, AZ visiting the Grand Canyon this summer when I had a health issue (ultimately diagnosed as a pinched nerve) that, for the first time, left me unable to drive the truck. The fact that my wife won't tow the RV with the 6-speed manual had never been a problem before, but this time it left us unable to get back to Texas, so my wife laid down the law - "Get me a truck that I can drive pulling the RV because I'm never going to get stranded if this situation occurs again. " Thus, the 2002 goes and the 2011 with a 68RFE automatic takes over the towing duties.

Kinda re-awakening an old thread...

I'd like to get my hands on a nice '01.5 6spd 4x4 quad cab.... I have one but missed out on a nice truck in WA and I'm rather annoyed with myself so trying to find another.

Looking for a nice clean low mileage truck here. No rust. I'm in CA, don't mind traveling for the right truck. If anyone has something like that or know where one might be had I'd really appreciate hearing from you!

Thanks
Alex.
