anyone currently deployed to LSA Anaconda?

ill be there from 15 Oct to 30 Jan 06 and wanted some first hand intel on camp and area. whats the current sitrep? i know it gets mortared on a regular basis. i know base is locked down. i know were in charlie. any and all info is appreciated.

Agreed. If they know enough about the base to put the mortars in it, then they probably already have all the intel they need.

Even if the info is available on the web you still can't discuss it, it still falls under OpSec, you may be giving info they don't have, like what your deployment dates are!!

say again? if info is already available through general and/or public resources, i still cant discuss it? that makes no sense brother. im not asking for classified info here--i need general info so i can make wise choices about what or what not to bring? what works well and what doesnt. i dont need a snafu for lack of intel.



if people are in the aor then please feel free to email or pm me. i plan on coming home in one piece so im trying to get as much info now as i can now.



and as far as my dates--maybe i put those dates as misinformation. or a in the ball park time frame when i will be there. who knows.

i was just curious how long that you have been in?? if you are coming over here you dont do it over the internet because it is monitored, OPSEC. the life overhere sucks like always, if you are a marine though. that is one of the biggest thing that can get someone or a lot of people killed talking bout flights and times. please dont ask for help from someone overhere right now, ask for someone that has returned or just watch the tv. sorry bout that but i dont want anything bad to happen to you or anyone else because of it.
