The next truck I buy won't be another 4WD. We don't get that much snow up here and I don't go off-road. If a guy likes a higher sitting truck (like me), mount taller tires. Fabtech makes a bunch of different lift kits for 2WD.
Headaches you give up with 2WD :
1. ) Transfer Case
2. ) Track Bar
3. ) Front differential
4. ) Axle Seals
5. ) Axle U-Joints
6. ) 4WD Hub Bearings
7. ) Upper and lower Links
Not to mention a lower price for 2WD, A lighter and better handling truck. Easier & Cheaper maintenance and better mileage.
I'm Done w/ 4WD.
