If so what were they?I have had alignment checked and everything and havent been able to hit 30,000 miles with a set yet. I also rotate them. I just want to find a all-terrain,m+s or full on mud tire that I can trust for at least a couple of years. Any suggestions would be cool!

I tow 99% of the time and travel about 500 miles each day... . I have bought my last 2 sets of tires at Walmart and got over 50,000 on each set so far... I need new ones by months end and have 53,000 on them now. They are made by Michelin for only Walmart to sell and are called Liberators and come with a 50 k warranty, free lifetime balance, rotatation, and flat repair for 4 mounted at the cost of around 450 bucks. I hate spending money there but they are 200 bucks less than any competition in my area and most of the competition wont warranty because I tow and they know me. Hope this helps, Chris

I'm just over 80,000 on the original Mich ltx m/s on an 02 3500. I want/need more tread and will probably get yokahama at's, I put these on my 2000 2500 and had half tread left when I sold it after putting about 35,000 on them.

Over 60K on the stock Michelins. They had enough tread for he summer, but failed the grade for the jamaican bobslet water ryts we have in the freeways.

85000 mi. on LTX michlins. only rotated once. 2wd. makes a difference. dont bother with wheel alignments . checked twice everything ok.

40k on my 285/75-16 Yokohama Geolander HTS & I don't think I'll have any trouble getting another 20k out of them. If the mechanicals are ok, it may be the nut behind the wheel? :)

Yah Yah Yah but tires dont wear if their not smoking right?

60 to 70K out of LTX Michelins on my 3500.

Currently on 4th set at 212K. I use balancing beads instead of lead weights and usually rotate front tires to rear two times during the life of the tire set.

My last set of BFG AT KO's lasted me 85,000 miles. I was extremely happy with the long life. I tow very little and I always rotate and check tire pressures on a regular basis

Stock Michilins still have about half the life in them at 42,000 mi. However... they are really crappy in the rain snow, and sometimes even on the dry pavement if I roll on it a bit too hard into a turn. They are good for milage, but that is about it. I hate having to throw her into 4X4 just to take off in the rain on a hill.

I agree,

I put nearly 75,000 miles on a set of 285/75/16 BGF AT KO's. That was a lot of unloaded highway driving though. I was very pleased with them. They are now even making them in Load Range E.

The stock BFG rugged trails that came on my truck are worn about 50% @ 36k, but I am having the same issues as SSabick.

My '01 1500 had GoodYear Wrangler GS-A and I got 50k out of those, that was with 4. 10 posi and me driving like it was a rally car.

I got about 65k out of my stock michelin ltx ms and could have gotten more but I didnt keep up with checking the inflation pressures and was running them too low. The center tread still had good life left but the inner and outer edges were worn down. Then I put on some Bridgestone Dueler Revos and the first set got right at 60k out of them and my second set which now have about 40k on them look like they are going to go 60k as well.
