freak occurrence
I had a customer's truck that I just had put a new Suncoast Transmission in to drive for the weekend. I had just backed it up a steep and winding driveway and put it in park and shut her off. When I tried to restart it, no crank. The truck had an elaborate alarm system, and I had run out of things I could check there. So up the driveway came the hook, which wasn't big enough and its front wheels lifted when it tried to pick up the Ram. The second one came and took it to my shop, where after digging, I found that the starter solenoid wire had rubbed through in one spot and grounded. Had the truck been a manual transmission, the tow would have been avoided. The driveway was long enough for an adequate start.
