Anyone have Geno's Heated Seats?

I was wondering if any of you guys had purchased heated seat inserts from

Geno's Garage?

If so, How do they work

How long have you had them

Were they hard to install?

had them in my truck for one year. very easy install. I however istalled them upside down. This put the heating element closer to my skin. Thus allowing to feel the heat faster and to be hotter.



I highly recomend them. Im going to be ordering another set for the back seat.

I've had them for at least 4 years. I installed them right-side-up, which I regret. They work better if you install them upside down as B-rock did (or so I've heard).

The driver side one (which gets the most use) is no longer working properly. It worked fine for the first year or so, but since then if the temperature is below ~30°F (which is when you really need it), it won't turn on. Very annoying.

I've had mine for about a year now and I love it. It wasn't hard to install, but just a little time consuming since you have to take the seat out, take the covers off and wire it all up. Well worth the money if you ask me.

Ive been looking at these. How warm do they get? I have a screwed up lower back, and on trips it will absolutely start KILLING me. The only thing that helps is heat...

Mine came with heated seats and it also came with a very uncomfortable bottom seat cushion.

I had the two loweer pads go out and had them replaced under warr. at two different times. My wifes side went out first and I called Genos and they replaced them free of charge! The new one was the same as the old one. When my side went out I called Genos again and they replaced for free! Now the heater that came was DIFFERENT then the old and does not heat near as hot as the old. So now my back is HOT and my butt is warm. I would rather have hot back and a warm butt so it works for me. I have no idea if the systems that Genos has now are the NEW version or the old. I doooo like them and wife no longer complains:-{}
