I did a google search and only came up with reviews and retailers. I would like to find their actual site.

What recomendations might anyone have as far as making the gauges dimmer. I just finished a dash install and I suspect I will want to lower there illumination even further than hooking it to the panel dimmer allows.

Also the boost gauge is much dimmer than either egt or trans, even though I think it is the only one that has two bulbs.

TIA, Dave

No kidding. The site is useless. Under contact info you can choose between an address or phone number, both in India. I guess they don't give out the email address so they don't have to hire as many translators.

Ditto the above guys.

As far as making the gauges dimmer, cut the wires going to the gauges' lights, and solder a resistor in there. Make sure they're of sufficient wattage or they'll burn--might have to use two or three in parallel.

Start small and work up. Even better, put a little trimmer potentiometer in there--the kind you adjust with a screwdriver. Then you can fine tune where you want the baseline to be, never have to touch it again, and the main dimmer switch will adjust it like it normally does.

Tbrudder, thanks for that tip. Do you know if/ where to put anothr one to go beforew the existing dash lighting?

I had the same problem with my Di Pricol boost gauge being much dimmer than the EGT. Par for the course with this brand I think. Both were brighter than my dash lights.

Both bulbs in the boost gauge burned out in less than two years, thus going from dim to none, and I can't find replacements anywhere. Anybody have a clue where these might be found?

I think the best place would be as close to the gauges as possible. That way, all your other lights are unaffected, and you just use the trimmer/resistors to alter the stock brightness of the added gauges to match the others.

For example--I have the A-pillar mount. I have all the pillar gauge lights tied together, then run off to the ashtray light for power. If I needed to adjust just the pillar lights, I'd put a trimmer pot at the point between where I had the lights tied together and the wire going to the power source. Play with it until the lights are right, then put the pillar back on and forget about it.
