I've been watching the price of Power Service going up over the last couple of years. But the thing that really surprised me is that the jug has also shrunk by 16oz. For years the price was consistently about $17 for an 80oz jug. For me that was 5 doses at about $3.63 per dose. But the price has climbed to $20+ for a jug, and I'm only getting 4 doses out of it. I'm guessing that this isn't going to stop, either. I wouldn't be surprised if in the near future they will drop the jug and be selling those 32oz bottles for $20.

I've noticed serious inflation everywhere too. I was just surprised that PS inflatified that much, so quickly. In January 2021 I was paying $2/gallon for diesel, and had been paying the same for at least two years before that. In November of 2021 I got a new iPhone, and on November 26 I took a picture in Bolivar, MO at a fuel pump of an "I did that! That's all me." sticker I saw on the pump. It was the first one I saw and I laughed my hiney off. Not sure I could get away with posting it here, but the price/gallon equation works out to $3.69 for regular unleaded. The clerk said they were popping up all over town and customers were taking pictures of them. A month ago I was paying $5.29/gallon for diesel, though it's come down a bit now. Still no relief for Power Service yet. Which is ironic since it's made about 30 miles from where I live.

Oh, well. I guess as Scooby would say, "Ret's roh, Randon!".
