Yeah... however after the dealer trade mine didn't come with one  ... so the dealer has it on order.

p18 of the manual...

To unlock ALL the doors:

1. Enter the vehicle & close all doors

2. Fasten seat belt.

3. Place key into ignition

4. Turn ignition to the ON position, w/o starting engine.

5. Press & hold UNLOCK button on FOB.

6. Continue to hold UNLOCK button for at leat 4 seconds, but no more than 10 seconds, then press and hold LOCK button.

7. When single chime is heard, release both buttons.

8. Turn ignition OFF and wait 60 seconds.

9. Repeat above steps to revert to previous setting.

To disable "horn chirp": 1. -4. as above.

5. Press and hold LOCK on FOB.

6. Continue to hold LOCK button for at leat 4 seconds, but no more than 10 seconds, then press and hold UNLOCK button.

7. -9. as above

Good luck  Alain

Hey thanks for taking the time to look it up Alain! That's much better! Does it say anything in there about turning off the loock doors at 15mph thingy?

Hmmm....

Sorry, haven't seen anything on that in there - besides, that feature I like, paranoid me ;).

15 mph locks

Yes it does. It took me awhile to figure it out though.

1. get in truck & fasten seat belt, so no other chimes are heard.

2. insert key into ignition.

3. with in 10 sec. turn the key to the on then off position 4 times ending in the on position, DO NOT start truck.

4. whith in 30 seconds push the automatic door lock on the drives side door to lock & hold, it will chirp & it is now programed not to lock doors at 15mph.

5. a word of caution, my truck had to chirp twice for this function to work, it did not work on one chirp as stated in the manual

6. if no chirp is heard it did not program to disable locks @ 15mph.

Just curious. What is the advantage of disabling the lock at 15mph? I believe, if the airbags are deployed they unlock automatically. I thought it was a pretty good safety feature.

Oh it's cool. . dont get me wrong... but when you are driving arround and people are getting in and out..... it gets old unlocking the door every time. Thanks for the help W. A. Derby!!

03 manual

The automatic locks @ 15 mph are a good idea for more populated areas, I would think. For me they were a pain in the butt. Every time I had passengers in the back & they wanted to get out either I had to remember to unlock the doors or each one by the rear door had to manually pull up the the door lock. If someone is paying you to truck them around to see moose ect. they can find this annoying, & so did I.

I think the 15 mph feature is as much of a safety issue as a security issue. I have my keys and fob in my pocket all the time and just use it to unlock the other doors. I got used to that faster than I did not having a keyed lock on the passengers side of the truck. I find myself using the door switch often, because I have to let my dog out of the truck.

Separated Key from Fob

I have the fob on another key ring for the purposes mentioned and also if I need to warm up the truck I can lock it and let it run for a few minutes with security and locking still on.

I also like to have daytime running lights for extra visibility not for me, but rather to be seen. It works for motorcycles studies have shown, and depending on the time of day and the color of the truck, it could just alert that driver who is a bit distracted, of my presence and save both of us a bad day.

I would however like to have them at a lower candle power to be courteous.

I run the fog lights and parking lights all the time for that reason. Just personal preference maybe.

DRL's aren't a bad idea out west or elsewhere where there are long straight roads with little traffic. I turn my lowbeams on when I am traveling on US 2 across ND and MT, for example. I also turn them on when mandated either by weather or suggested in certain areas for safety. I see little use for them here in the northeast because of the traffic and mostly winding roads. I also think they are a good idea on motorcycles, because of their size. I do not think we have to follow Canada's example and mandate their use. As you say, personal preference :) .

03 manual

It just goes to show , " different strokes for different folks". What makes sense in one place & for one person don't alway's apply to other places & people. God it's great to live in the USA. Oo. Oo. Oo. Oo. :D
