for those with these did you have them "go through" your injector like theyre add says? after a 100k of abuse i'm wondering if im better off to just buy 6 brand new sticks.

how smokey are they on take-off in traffic? TIA

I would definitely get Don to check out your injectors if you send them in. He can fix them as good or better than new and I am sure it will be a lot cheaper.

i dont see how you can repair injector parts that are not avalible, bosch has NOT released any internal wearable parts! the ball, seat, ect unless you get a new body, thats it. only nozzels and seals for now

Don has all the parts necessary to fix damaged/worn out injectors. He has his sources ;)

yep. :D You got that right. He has access to parts that even the so called "bosch" shops don't

My guess would be anyone that says that they can not get the parts. :-laf

i still think that $100 to fix a POS injector is far feched, know matter who you are. i going to call BS on him being able to source out ball and seats, even though bosch has NOT put them into production as a separate part

If injectors are already being offered as "remanufactured" from many different shops I would say that the parts are out there.

You also have to think outside the box a little. If you cant buy just one part to fix something... . go and buy a whole new unit and cannibalize!! I do it all the time.

bosch is takeing the bad injectors and fixing them in house and selling as "remanufactured", but separate parts for the public are not avalible.

Think what you want Wade, as long as you make statements like that you are showing everyone just how well you are informed LOL :-laf

Remember something..... the same people told you that there was not a torque spec for installing injector nozzles are the ones saying there are not any parts. These are the same people that installed your nozzles so tight that you had to use a 1/2" impact to remove them.

I rest my case :-laf

So, how about those Flux 3's? #ad

yeh really. :-laf

Summit- I would have him go through them and see if they need freshened up. Regardless of what others say, he can and does do that. He has helped me out on injector parts in the past and that is how I know that he has access. This is first hand knowledge, not just assumptions and/or lack of knowledge.

As for flux 3's:D..... Go for it if you have the fuel to feed them. :D

i dont know what makes don any different than the 5,000 other bosch shops around the country that cant get parts

Well, all I know is I have had injectors repaired by Don. So, as I said, I know first hand that he can and does do repairs regardless of what other shops and people think. :D Don is also the one that has a source for new blank tips when other shops have not. So think about that also. LOL :-laf

have a good one. :D

Ya no joke :-{}

nothing to get your panties in a bunch... The discussion above pertained to part of the first part of the original question that started the thread.

That being whether or not to get the injectors freshened up. Wade seems to think it can not be done, I happen to know that it can be.

As for the flux 3's, I do not have the EDM'd flux tips, but have had my injectors fully reworked by Don M and they flow around the same amount as the 3's. I am very pleased with mine. Smoke cleans up very well and fuel economy is as good as ever if not better :D Don is light years ahead of a lot of other companies
