Even though my order placed in March @ the $2500. 00 figure, Adam guaranteed the better cash incentive between of time of order and time of delivery. Nothing beats dealing with a person of integrity!

Ordered 03/23/07 ; received a VIN on 03/27/07 ; my dealer said it may go into D1 status by the end of the week and has an expected ship date of 04/11/07 (I'll believe it when I see it :-laf )

Your salesman didn't know, so don't go and kill him or anything. They know when you know.

I ordered my truck with Adam on Friday. On Monday the order was gone. However, they have seen this before and sure enough, it was back in the system today. However, it looks like my truck is following the same path as yours - it is in BG status. Hopefully not for two weeks like yours.

Concerning incentives,D/C keeps everyone in the dark from the store owner on down. You're always guaranteed the current incentives when you complete the sale,no matter where you buy from. This also means in the event D/C lowers the incentives(rare to non-existent)you're stuck with that price. My truck was manufactured and shipped so quickly that my Farm Bureau membership was not in place for a further discount but Dave Smith Motors split the difference with me to the tune of a $233. 00 discount. That was over and above good customer service.

Meaning had the incentive gone down a grand instead I still would have received the $2500. 00 that was offered when I ordered.



If your sitting on the fence I can't believe that we'll ever see a greater incentive than the $3500 currently being offered our Diesel Rams, I suspect it only goes down from here. I'd be placing my order now with someone that will guarantee you that rebate even if it drops by time your truck is built and delivered.

Any 5 star dealer should do this with incentives. We always make sure the consumer gets the greater incentive when ordering a new truck from us.

Pete,I stand corrected. I was assured from DSM that I would receive at least the incentive that was in place on the day of my order. I was thinking of what a local dealer here in S. D. quoted me. :{ My friend and I were at Rancho Dodge yesterday and couldn't believe how nice the C&C's w/Aisen auto looked(I didn't dare drive). My buddy's looking to install an aluminum flatbed and the parrallel,flat frame rails apply themselves to his needs perfectly. 52 gal tank is a plus too! Unfortunately the ULSD requirement won't work for extended voyages into Baja for him. Dodge and Cummins have really come through for '07. 5 CTD products. Good luck to all you guys awaiting your trucks. Incidentally,my buddy took off his spare and had his truck weighed with fumes in the tank. Might help a little.

I just checked the Dodge website a few minutes ago and it still doesn't say anything about the incentives going up on the trucks. You would think they would update that info fairly quickly.

The incentives are not the same nationwide according to the Chrysler Financial Website at http://www.chryslerfinancial.com/incentives/incentives2.jsp go there and enter your zip code to find out. It looks like the incentives only went up in the Western US. They went up $500 on the 2500/3500 Reg & Quad Cabs and I believe $1000 on the 2500/3500 Mega Cabs.



Zip codes 78737, 06790, 32547, 29161, 73109, 37211 are all showing:

Ram 2500/3500 Mega Cab $2500

Ram 2500/3500 Reg & Quad Cab $3000

I dont believe these changed.
