The incentives are not the same nationwide according to the Chrysler Financial Website at http://www.chryslerfinancial.com/incentives/incentives2.jsp go there and enter your zip code to find out. It looks like the incentives only went up in the Western US. They went up $500 on the 2500/3500 Reg & Quad Cabs and I believe $1000 on the 2500/3500 Mega Cabs.

Zip codes 78737, 06790, 32547, 29161, 73109, 37211 are all showing:

Ram 2500/3500 Mega Cab $2500

Ram 2500/3500 Reg & Quad Cab $3000

I dont believe these changed.

Zip codes 98687, 83660, 93620, 97402, 80537, 84047 are all showing:

Ram 2500/3500 Mega Cab $3500

Ram 2500/3500 Reg & Quad Cab $3500

Buy it at Dave Smith, in Kellogg, Idaho. Fly out, pick it up, and use the $500 to have a great trip back East... :)

Talk about a paid vacation... :-laf

here in new york the rebates have stayed the same 2500 for my mega if it ever get here so far 5 months from order date and still no truck . oh ya they say there losing money maybe if the built and ship quicker they would make money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

At least one can get a good incentive to purchase a Dodge truck. According to my brother-in-law, who's wheeling and dealing to purchase an f350 PS, say that Ferd is offering $0 incentive. Also, if you want to buy the extended warranty, you have to pay more then twice the price of Dodge Extended Warranty. I told my brother-in-law that Ferd wants that much for the extended warranty because they know that they will use all that money and then some to fix the darn thing over the extended warranty period. He's still going to buy a Ferd. ???

For those of you that have missed the deadline for ordering,DSM does have a sizable inventory on hand. Les McDaniel helped me@1-800-635-8000x1302. Good guy.

As I sit here on the fence contemplating what I'll buy this year and the 6. 7 is one of my options the odds are in our favor that incentives will continue to increase even if the $$$$ stays the same they will sweeten it with APR.

Afterall the pickup segment in general is in a decline, Dodge has a sweet new motor and transmission combo out for basically a month that seems in short supply and they already have a $3500 incentive, its not even the summer driving season yet and gas/fuel is already climbing and as it increases demand on pu's will decrease and not to mention a lot of folks will stay out of the diesel market this year simply to observe feedback on these new EPA motors.

Unless you just have to buy one now my money says wait for even more incentives.

Just my . 02 from experience trying to save you a buck.

While I hate Toyota after 2 months they can't even sell their newly designed and highly market Tundra w/o major incentives to the sheep that think they walk on water so that tells you something about the pu market right now.

Imagine that.

Between the current sub-prime and interest only foreclosure disaster that has yet to peak and economists seeing the economy slowing at best or at worst a possible mild recession in 08 consumer confidence is down which will effect the new car market.

I'm on the record with a HOLD. :-laf

Enjoy your trucks guys either way!

Fuel economy.

Unless your willing to drive a 4-banger compact truck, our trucks for as heavy and strong as they are, are as fuel efficient as V-6 and V-8 fullsized pickups. A co-worker has a V-6 2wd Toyota, reg. cab. longbed auto and he only averages 15-17 mpg. I've got a '98 Accord that serves as my errand vehicle, saving the truck for heavier applications.

I was surprised that the incentives included trucks with the 6. 7 as the dealer lots have lots of 5. 9's sitting around and not many 6. 7's. In fact I had one dealer tell me the incentive was only on the 5. 9's until I got him corrected. I would venture to guess that they will soon start offering higher incentives on trucks with the 5. 9's.

I wonder just who all is receiving these coupons... I have yet to see anything in the mail. Is it specifically for the Ram or for any Dodge product? Any fine print disclaimers like "can't be combined with any other offers"?

Mine just came yesterday.

Could it be that they are sending them to current Dodge owners? Sort of an owner loyalty program? Is the certificate from Dodge or from a local dealer?

I called Dodge's Help Line (800-423-6343) today with my VON to inquire about the status of my 2007. 5 RAM 3500 Laramie MegaCab SRW 4x4 6. 7L & six-speed auto. They gave me a 2nd number (800-992-1997) and it's D1 and being built.

After PLancier's wonderful thread, I asked about the $500 additional incentive. They opened a file number for me and gave me yet another number to call Monday (there was no one there around 11:00 am today as it is Easter Weekend)... . 800-227-0757. They genuinely seemed interested in hooking me up with the extra $500 especially since they know I have a VON and a sold-order truck.

Maybe these telephone numbers will help you guys out with an extra $500. If so, PM me a $5. 00 McDonald's gift card. :-laf Me & my daughter, Lexi, just love them McDonald's Hotcakes. :-laf

Greg

Thanks Greg for the number!

I was wondering if maybe it is a target market. Pete is in CA. Are the others that received them? I received word from Adam today that my truck is in "D" status and received the VIN number as well.

Kinda hard to say..... I have received similar mailings in the past, since the March 30th, 2003 purchase of my '03, but they were at the wrong time. I'd guess the mailings are somewhat target in nature though.

I was at $2500 at time of order and now I'm at $3500 with hopefully another $500 in the mail after Monday ! Oo.

Hi everyone. Here is what I know about the mailer:

This is what Dodge calls a TDM "Target Direct Mailer". They use many different means to gather names and addresses to send these to including: Hand Raisers, people who go to the Dodge website and as for a brochure or request a quote. The target competitive owners by looking at vehicle registrations for Ford and Chevy trucks that are two or three years old and may soon be in the market to "trade in".

They also target current owners, if you have seen an actual invoice, you may have noticed a $25 Customer Loyalty Mail fee. If you bought a truck in the past, you paid for the stamp to send you that $500 coupon... seems worth it now huh?

If you are in one of these categories, but have not received a "coupon" in the mail, here is why. Your local dealer has to download what they call the "Galley List" and pay for the mailer. If they are to cheap to do so, you may still have a chance. After a cutoff date, they will re-distribute the names on the list that have not been downloaded to area dealers who have downloaded their list. Then a second wave of mailings will go out.

According to the program rules I read, they will not add any names to the list, so if you are not on the list, I doubt you can call any numbers to get on the list. I would be calling my local dealer and finding out if they downloaded the galley list. They still have time to do it. If they refuse or don't give you a warm fuzzy, call another dealer in the area and try again.

A quick warning though, they will probably try to turn your request around on you with a line like "Why don't you come down and pick out the truck you like. I will see to it we give you the discount even though you don't have the coupon. "

Some discount... off MSRP it isn't much of a discount is it.

Happy driving everyone.

Thank you to all the members showering praise and encouragement. I am just one man on a mission to change the image of our industry!!!

Yes, that’s a thought. As they say “Hold m, or Fold m”. The Democratic forecasters are not in short supply. Crystal Ball economic forecasting is clearer when you look at the unemployment figures. http://www.whitehouse.gov/fsbr/employment.html. Feb 07, number was 4. 7%, and that does not factor in the millions of unemployed illegal aliens or the ones employed for cash that small businesses are making millions of extra dollars profit from.

If the downer forecasters are correct, and of course they could be, the cost of barrowing money will be beyond what I could afford to pay.

Just maybe, today’s Prim interest rate affords an interest rate which we can all afford to buy that great 2007. 5 CTD, Dodge. Then we can smile at what may come along in the future.
