I was looking through the Genos catalog looking for new STUFF to add to my truck and seen the Kleen wheels thing. Under it it had the various years listed and 94-99 was grouped togather and 00 and up was seperate. Did DC change the bolt pattern on us ?? I have a direct concern as I am trading my 99 2500 auto for a 2001 with the H O 6 speed. I kept my 285/16BFGs mounted on 16x8 rims for the new truck. Now I am wondering if they will fit ?? Has anyone done this out there??
Tonight after work I took the 285 off and put the 245s back on and it don't even look like the same truck.

Thanks for your help. I have learned a lot from this site. I wish I would have know about this site before I ordered my 99 I would have went with the 5 speed.
I have BOMBing plans.
Thanks again
Chris

I Love My Truck, but have on order a 2001. 5 2500 with the H Output and 6 speed. Same everything else.

From what I understand, the bolt pattern was changed in 2000. If I'm wrong please correct me. I was looking to buy a set of wheels off a new truck and was told they would not fit.

No the bolt pattern did NOT change. It's the backspacing that the 2000+ wheel has that it doesn't fit the 94-99 trucks. See,the inner part of the rim hits the rear drums and front steering knuckle.
Dubster,Your 2001 will be fine with the aftermarket wheels since the 2000+ drums are now smaller and the knuckles are notched.

Thanks MikeR. I needed that. After spending $1200 on tires and rims, my wife would have went through the roof if I would have to do it over again.
I will check the offset of the rim and compare to the stock rims and go from there.
Thanks again
Chris
