Seriously. .

I don't mean you would never do another thing, just wondering if there are any 3rd geners satisfied for the time being with there current mods or is it always a never ending habit?

For those satisfied what eng/trans mods are you at?

For those not yet "fulfilled", what mods are on your list?

it NEVER ends, I want a pusher pump, pressure box, injectors cam and water/meth inj. Eventually it will be twinned also. it all depends on funding(none at the moment). it is very addictive

I'm 'content' for now. I'm also out of BIG money for the next phase (injectors, turbo. . maybe stacking with my EZ). I REALLY want to go to 19. 5's also but then again that's a BIG chunk of dough.

I did just debadge my truck and I am in the process of dressing up my plastic valve/breather cover thing-a-ma-bob. I can't leave anything alone and it's virtually free to mess with it.

-Need some big meats before fall... thinking of stepping up to 285's :-laf

-New shocks

-Try a timing/duration box that doesn't give codes

I think that's it

I am not satisfied yet.

Transmission/TC being rebuilt as I type with all billet shafts, HD Triple Disc custom TC and what ever the tricks are to be able to hold 650+hp.

After that I will add an EZ stack to the HOT Juice/Attitude currently installed. Then will probably need twins to keep the EGTs under control. Of course that means FASS and ARP studs and probably injectors to get where I am aiming now.

If I get to that point, probably wont be satisfied until I try drugs.

Sure glad MC/Visa have lots of money.

I can honestly say due to the next step being such a large $$$ one, I will stopping for a while... So I am some-what content for now

(See signature for mods, and HP)

The clutch is currently at its absolute max hp - So until I pony up for a DD, I'm done - No use getting more fuel or air, But I may do the cam for spoolup and mileage

Every time I think I'm done and could not possibly need anymore mods for my truck I always seem to find something I need to make it go a little faster, thank god I have a very understanding wife :-laf

Do you know how many times I have said this exact same thing :-laf

I really want to be the first 3rd Gen Standard Output to hit 12 seconds on #2 only. I have seen it done with NOS, but so far it hasn’t been done on #2 only…. as far as I have been able to find out. I think I can do it with my current mods with a little more tweaking and track time and if so I will be done. If not…well, gotta do something else.

…. and my goal is to do it with the 315s on. :D

My tst is code free...
I heard they were having troubles again, old program is good but new one isn't??

I was thinking of going to a TST, my 140 X-zillaraider is in the classifieds.

Maybe an EZ with VA duration stack.

Anybody know how much timing is provided with an EZ or TST?

I'm running the new program and I have been totally code free for the first time since the TST was released. The original program threw codes every other day, but ran better on my truck.

The new program seems to have some issues with the transition between the torque levels and the power levels, right around 2K RPMs where torque starts to taper off and power starts to take over. Seems to be more of an issue on the 03/04s. We are pretty sure this is what's causing the RPM surge and little blip on the dyno charts right at 2K RPMs that some folks are seeing. The original program written and tested on TST's then 03 SO is the only program that doesn't do it. Supposedly TST is working on it, but I wouldn’t hold my breath.

TST advances timing to 12 degrees.

I have a 'new program' TST and the only time it threw any coded was when I nearly stalled it taking of from a stop (learning the DD clutch), otherwise it is problem free.

I think the day I sell this truck will be the first day I don't think about adding something else :D

I hope to add the following within the next 6 months or so:

Toyo M/T 37x13. 5 17's

Traction Bars

Piers or Poole Twins

Arp Studs

Piers Cam

Daystar 'Baja Bar'

I'm not into bombing, but I'm constantly making changes. After most of them I think "okay, I'm done for awhile". Then I wonder what happened when I'm 3 hours into a project the next day.
