Rubberneck,
I had ARMA Coatings do my liner about a month ago. Talked with the owner of the shop quite a bit first. He and his crew are CTD fans, owner is on his 3rd CTD with a red 99 dually. Anyway, he tells me that the two guys who started the Line-X company had a fight, one guy split off and formed Armacoatings. He claims that both Line-X and Armacoatings use exactly the same product, even buy it from the same manufacturer. The only difference, I'm told, is the way in which the truck is prepped before spraying the liner in. Supposedly, Line-X companies just roughen up the paint surface, while Armacoatings shops actually strip the paint all the way to bare metal before spraying the liner in.
I can't vouch for this, but so far I am very happy with my liner, and am seriously considering taking it back to have the rocker panels done, as Steve St. Laurent did on his truck recently.
