Anything else I should check is welcomed... this is my 30k / annual service, I think I have all the must items

@bcbender, I don't recall if you have done your diff's or not.

You might consider changing out your power steering reservoir, only holds about a cup. Mine was kinda dark at 29k.

I changed mine at my first annual service and will likely do so each year, even thou it's not called for until much later on. It's not much fluid.

I did the rear diff at 10/21 @15,256 mi... I was only doing the trans since I was leaving for MO on Friday, but since my Amsoil order came in today (1 case Sig ATF, 1 case Severe Gear 75/90) I can add it to the list, but was thinking it was good for at least 20k. Not a big deal as I use the truck now almost exclusively for towing or hauling

I did both front and rear at that time, I see no need to do the front but every other time at most.

I to think it’s important to check it and change it more often. Hauling 3000 lbs and my 4 w drive gets used a lot . Transfer case too . Premium gear oil is a must also

Amsoil rates the severe gear for 50K miles severe service and 100K normal service. I've ran it 100K miles, twice, in our 03 4Runner and it always comes out cleaner than the Ram OE fluid at 15K, so I have some faith in their ratings. I ran it 50K in my 05 and it always came out looking new, but that had a MH cover and held 8 quarts.

I had planned on 40K changes on the 18, but traded it in before the first change was due. I am not sure what I'll do on the '22, but likely the same. I dumped the OE fluid at 13,746. The OE interval is 22,500 miles and you're good for at least that.

Based on me towing HEAVY at 35k combined my lube was TOAST as I accidentally ran mine at 24,600 miles. I am a firm believer in getting rid of it at a much lower mileage.

Anybody notice the dipstick on the AISIN (at least mine) is rather loose fitting to the tube? It tends to no want to be seated in and pushes back up a bit when inserted all the way, I think its a bit strange but this is my first AUTO truck and first time dealing with it. Drained and re-filled last night... put in 7qt (plus the small amount left from the transfer case) and checked in running in park... was overfilled (sitting at the SAFE HOT) area, not COLD.. I will suck out the extra bit tonight, but do I need to drive it before rechecking, or simply cycle it R/D a few times to make sure its where it needs to be? Never had an AUTO trans that had a "COLD" and "HOT" check point.. Side note, it was a touch over from the factory when I checked it (@163 deg) prior to dumping it last night, and I have no idea where it was COLD

Yes, mine is the same. I can't recall if my 2018 was the same or not, as I didn't check it too many times in 50K miles.

I would get it up to temp and recheck it. The hot temp is much more important to me.

yeah yeah.... well I was fresh out of 3 gallon Erlenmeyer Flasks last night so it is what it is...

In 45y I've never had an issue doing it this way, (drain and refill / check) just sitting a touch overfilled based on the add 7q then check method... If I did 6.5 to start Id not be over.

Update... Before doing anything, I drove it around the block.. came back, just above the "COLD" mark. Went out and drove it about 20 mi to get it up to temp (163) and came back, it is sitting about 2mm above the "HOT" hatched area.... I drove it today and plan to check again at lunch when I go get diesel and DEF. It is lower than it was when I drained it, but still "just" above the top of the "HOT" hatched area. Was about 7.2q I put in.
