I'll get more posted soon on the DPM web site, but we had a blast.
Winner goes to Kevin Robinson with the STP Dakota with a 12. 25 @ 111 mph.
2nd place went to a local STP customer with a 17. 45 in his 3500 towing truck.
3rd place went to Robert Patton in his diesel bug running 17. 04 (don't have the numbers in front of me)
4th place went to Kenny Acree in a STP 2500 running 13. 65 @ 103mph
5th Place went to Jeff Garmon in the STP drag truck running 11. 63 @ 112 mph.
Clint of ATS was scorching the Duramax down the track with 13. 4's and our good friend Jet Pilot Doug Smith (which JetPilot no longer refers to his jobbut rather his truck) ran a 12. 1 @ just under 118 mph. :--)
There will be more to post after I take a small rest and chill for a few hours and we will have all the results posted on the DPM website. When we get that finished(thanks Randy), I'll let everyone know. We will have pics and Mpegs for your viewing pleasure
I'll let Eric explain what happened to his truck, but he was unable to race. I'll look forward to his passes next year.
Thanks to EVERYONE that helped out, from the guys shooting the photos to Clint of ATS bringing 4 trucks down all of which made really quick passes. (I'll let CMonroe tell you how happy he was.
A special thanks to STP for making it possible to make my first 13 second pass (13. 65 @ 99 mph) and providing the support needed to pull this off.
