Attention Thunder in Muncie PULLERS

[Sled Puller]

A few things:



Pro Street and Modified classes, leave your water tanks dry, DHRA will be supplying the water for injection systems.



We are opening up a separate entrance for pullers.



The main gate is on 850N, the pullers will be coming in a side gate on 450 W, at the south east side of the track. The gate will open right into the pits.

Children under 16=free admittance.







Gate Tickets:



-$30=2-day pass per adult (Saturday

-$20= 1 day pass (Per day at gate)





Truck Pulls: (Saturday only)***DHRA Sanctioned***



$50 (Price includes 2-day gate pass a $30 value)



Purse $7500* (*Purse subject to attendance, last year’s attendance=150)



Sled Pull Times:



Street Diesel *>9:00 am start, registration closes @ 10:00 am, limit 75 entries.



Pro-Street *>11:00 am start, registration closes @ 12:00 pm, limit 75 entries.



Modified *>1:00 pm start, registration closes @ 2:00 pm, limit 75 entries.



***Qualification times are listed. Purse Pull will start no sooner than 5:00 pm. participants must qualify to enter pull.





(Could someone explain to me why east - west roads in Indiana are marked North-South while north- south roads are marked East West? )

Your north south east directions are confusing as hell.

Are you saying that the entrance for the pullers is on the end of the track from which the sled starts?

Jim, if somebody were never there before, how would they know which way we pull?

Example a county roud in most IN counties

500E = runs north and south 5 miles east of the centerline of the county.

525N = runs east and west 5. 25 miles north of the centerline of the county.



Its part if IN's Emergency 9-1-1 address system for emergency responce.

But there is a pull friday night the 4th in a town just south if muncie in a little town called Moorland Ind. And I am pretty shure thay are pulling diesel Trucks. Just some info for you pullers, Thought maby you would like to get the party started sooner

You tell me what you want to know And I will tell. I know it is 8000# diesel trucks and it is run what you brung. Starts at 5:00 Ind time not shure when diesel trucks ?? I will try to post more info and answer any more Questions Tommrow. Justin

Take hwy 3 south out of Muncie to hwy 36 and go east to mooreland, turn right and once in town you will see signs the pulling track will be on the right I believe.
