July Gateway Chapter and GODA summer BBQ

MN TDR July 10th

Al said he was shipping stuff today. I should have it by early next week. I'm hoping to at least get the guages in. I don't think I'll be able to resist temptation on the bombs till the 19th. I'll probably need help with the tweeking though!

The BBQ on Fri. night is at my place. The "meeting" will be at my place as well as any bombing, tire kicking, bs'ing etc. on Fri, Sat, and into Sun. (July 18, 19, 20)

It looks like a few of us anyway are going to CFD on Sat. night. Those who don't have concert tix can go and pay the basic entry fee and walk around the carnival/vendors/rodeo stuff. Those who want to just hang at my place are welcome as well.

I would think we need to burn up some more meat on the grill at my place on Sat. afternoon as well?

If you havn't rec'd directions, PM me. Tim

Lets see a tally on who wants to dyno ... ... ... ... ... ... . count me in

Cheers, Kevin

I would dyno too! That's 3 so far. I have no idea how many trucks they can do in an hour.

KEV, which Cat shop is it?? There are at least two in town:

1. Wyoming Machinery Co

2. Cheyenne Truck Center

3. ????

Let me know and I'd be glad to stop in for a visit. Maybe I'll send Lisa instead, she could butter them up better than me:D

Tim, Rob works at Wyoming Machinery Co but is not the boss, see what you can lineup for us as far as price and times available, I hope we can get a dozen trucks to dyno. I would think we could do 2 per hour so we gotta get the guy to drop his rates for us if he could.

Saturday afternoon would be a great time for another feed, I bet we could take up a colection for funds and get some grub at the store and burn it up... ... . whatdoyathink?

Lets have some mor commitments on the dyno, ofcourse this is if we can get a reasonable rate.

Cheers, Kevin

tpc,

I'm a member of the Mason-Dixon TDR, but it just so happens I'm gonna be in Cheyenne from the 15th to 24th (brother-in-law is retiring from the Air Force). I won't be driving my truck 'cause me and the family are flying into / out of Denver; would like to see about stoppin' by to say hey. We're supposed to be going to the CFD one day also... ..... maybe even the 19th. Can't remember, there's supposed to be a concert on whatever night we go.

By this time next year I will have retired from the USMC and be lookin' for the closest chapter to Sioux Falls, SD.

Maybe you could p. m. me with an address or ph #.

Thanks

i just met Mike- MDLowry tonight and talked to him for a couple hours. it looks like he'll be going so i'd say it's safe to say that there's three trucks, including mine, going, with a possible 2 more.

Tom

46mech, I just PM'd ya.

98rammer, is that two more for the dyno, or just coming up for the get together?

EVERYBODY: We need a head count for both whose coming for the get together

AND who is coming to dyno

We need numbers for both. I can't go to the dyno guys without having a pretty solid number. Thanks Tim

I just had a good idea

I'm going to start another thread just for the possible dyno event. That might spark more interest from surrounding members, post your head count for the dyno in there.

I will get down to see those guys by early next week with hopefully some good numbers. I'll try to talk them into a set price per truck rather than an hourly rate.

I just volunteered my wife to buy us a keg of beer:D It will be on tap Friday afternoon so we can start the peeeeeeeeeeing contest, he who busts a bladder first looses

Cheers, Kevin

Kev, please disregard the beer part of my last pm. :D Boy Mrs. Whitmore truely is awesome to take on the most important task of this whole weekend. The beer! Do I need to line a keg up here? I know where we can get one and the ice will be free!

There will also be a campfire so bring yer marshmallows and hot dogs and a reminder to bring chairs. Some are coming in from a ways out.

46mech just pm'd me and said he MIGHT be there, but he's flyin'.

There will be a donation boot/jar if you guys will help Kev and I pay for the eats.

Tim- well, so far it'll be me, and two others going to the BBQ on Saturday (maybe a 4th person). but, if everyone will be doing a dyno, they might go. i doubt that they will dyno, however- just watch, but i will spin the rollersOo.

how will the dyno go- do you want to meet up at the dyno, run, and then head over to Tim's place... ?

Tom.

if anyone needs me, call my cell at 207-807-5648

Lynn, I've got ya down. It'll be nice to have an '03 in the crowd. I just got back from a long weekend of horseback trail riding and I'm getting back into the swing of things.

me too

Count me in for the BBQ. Too bad I can't have my truck there, I'd love to dyno it. It has to go to MT with my youngest son. :(

Another time.

Karen

Well unfortunately I won't be able to come hang out for the weekend.

However, I will be heading to Worland Friday night and I hope to stop by for a little while to meet everyone. Try not to make it look like to much fun or I'll have to dissapoint my family and not come see my grandparents that are visiting Worland that weekend;)

Matt

I went through the posts yesterday and figured somewhere around 28. Some will be here Fri, some Sat. /Sun. Some all three. Kev and I are planning BBQ on Fri. night, then again on Sat. afternoon as we'll be headed for CFD on Sat. night.

I just added a few more. My Bro-in-law just confirmed he's coming with his camper. He drives a powerjoke, so we can heckle him some. He loves it and he can party like it's 1999! My folks live in the same neighborhood and they're coming over as well. Dad drives a '94 Chevy with a 6. 5 bucket of bolts. We can hassle him too. I know this is a TDR party, but I thought a few extras wouldn't hurt.
