Yes, I know that when lockup occurs is determined by the PCM UNLESS you have something to change that signal... like the ATS controller I have. Over a set speed the converter will stay locked up no matter what you do. It's one of the key features of the ATS setup. If you'll notice in my post i said "my transmission" (including TC, VB, full trans and controller) when referring to its lockup capabilities, not just the TC.
