I just recently changed my '96 DCTD auto transmission filter and gasket. I now am leaking like a slug at most bolts there. The Dodge dealer said not to use any sealer with the "NEW" type gasket with rubber ridges and flanged bolts at $2. 00 a pop. Well, it leaks bad even though I torqued it to the "OLD" specs. With the old gasket, never a drip! It's over $10. 00 worth of transmission fluid down the drain evertime the pan comes off. Maybe it would make good fuel lube? When I take it off I think I'll stick the gasket to the pan with a good sealer and silcone to the aluminum housing. Any ideas? Does the new Mag-Hytec remove and seal any different when serviced? Thanks, Herb
