FYI,
Just had my transmission upgraded with DTT kit a couple of months ago (10K miles) and loved the results.
This is a note to all of you considering the upgrade: If you are running over 350 hp or so (see sig for mods) I would recommend that you also have Bill's billet input shaft installed while the transmission is apart.
I was in a funeral procession yesterday (therefor taking it easy) and just as the truck shifted into 2nd I heard a loud pop and no power to the rear wheels. I coasted to the side of the road, shifted into reverse, 1, 2, then drive again to no avail. I grabbed the transfer case shifter and stuffed it into 4x and still nothing. Drug the truck down to Baker's Diesel in Ogden, Utah who performed the DTT upgrade and found that I had stripped all the splines off the input shaft. Bill is air freighting his billet shaft to me but no truck until Monday or Tuesday. Sucks to be me, now I have to ride my Harley all weekend!
