My auto up/down window switches are randomly not working. The windows will roll up or down if I hold the switch, but the one touch auto feature has become intermittent. Anyone know WTF is going on?

Had/have same issue you have to reset it via the procedure in manual. If I recall it is roll it up and hold button for 3 seconds then roll down hold button for three seconds.
So far for me it has only been driver side front

Had same issue in my tdi golf

I use the button a lot but danged if I know what makes it go wonky

Been going on in my 2010 since it was about a year old. It will go 6-8 months at a time with no issue, act up for a day or so, and then be fine for another 6-8 months. Right now, the one touch works on the drivers side fine, but not on the passenger side. It used to seem to be only when there was extreme temps, very hot or cold, but now it just seems to be random.

If you figure out the answer, let me know.

Most likely a bad switch, but in any case do the relearn. Go up, down, up, or down, up, down holding the switch in the up or down position for several seconds after the window reaches the end of travel. If that does not correct it sounds like time for a switch.

Sag2 I can help here maybe correct me if I am wrong,Ram Truck owners manual page's 47 and page 48. Ram Truck owners manual "Reset Auto-up",and "Auto down".Just follow the procedure for both. There is a detent how ever slight but it is there. This effect's the window motion of travel and how it respond's.

The last time I bought a replacement switch I found the best value at rockauto...... When that switch arrived I was surprised how it looked exactly like the old switch which I was removing down to the location of the clock on the back of the switch that indicates what time and shift the switch was made on....

I came to the conclusion that it came from the same factory at the OE switch.... can't verify that... but I was impressed...
