Auto Zone Rear Brake shoes? Any Good?

Time for Brakes. Called Auto Zone and Napa. Shoes at Napa are, 44. 95, 68. 95 and 84. 95 exchange; Auto Zone with no core charge is 21. 95. Big price difference but not that much if they are junk.



What do you think or is there a better one you would recommend?

I've been running mine from Autozone for a year or more. I don't remember what brand they were - Raybestos maybe, or one of the other known brands. They seem to be working OK. They get a little grabby at slow speed when they need adjusting. They are OK after an adjustment. Wearing well. Lately I'm getting just a little low speed squeak. Probably just need cleaned and used hard a few times.
