2002 dodge cab and chasis 488,620 miles diesel 5. 9,automatic peddle position sensor keeps going out on an average of 20,000 miles,original sensor lasted 160,000 miles next sensor lasted until 400,000 miles,has

had 4 sensors replaced since. vehicle is used as a hot shot rig and cruise is usually set when app sensor fails. Oo.

Look in TDR issue #57. (nov, dec, jan 06-07) There is an article describing a way to service the potentiometer part of the Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor without having to buy a new unit every time.
