On a 2022 there is a AUX plug in the dash owners manual says it is a 12v but doesn't say what type of jack it takes. Does any one know?

In the in between the USB ports is an auxiliary port (AUX) in the picture, that is the one I am looking for. My a 12V cigar lighter is on top of the dash. It should look like one of these.

USB-C is the oval one... USB-A is the rectangle one. Both give 5V out for charging... Usually 1A but sometimes 2A, not sure of the exact specs for yours.

It doesn't matter after all. I took it apart and it has no wires hooked to the AUX port, the jack is there but not connected. I guess I didn't buy enough options. Thanks anyways guys.

Wow! A good thing you checked. You could have chased a "not working" case for a long time and a lot of frustration. One would think they would remote the jack and plug the hole if it wasn't a working option. Or, build it without the jack.

O' it's frustration I have been looking for this anwser all week. I am guessing there is more then 1 owners manual, it's not on my page 280. I will just use one of the auxiliaries switchs.

If it doesn’t work take it back to the dealership, it’s standard on the trucks and if installed should be operational.

Page 280 references the digital owners manual.Under multimedia.

On my old truck that jack was an input for a music source to the audio system such as an MP3 player. Can't find one on my new Tradesman...

They stopped putting it in the fold down center console on the Tradesman? I guess they figure that everyone uses Bluetooth now. I use the port in my console with a Bluetooth receiver to connect audio to the truck. If you've got a jack that's on the dash and not working, I'd be in sales office to demand that it be working! It's there and should be operational!

I really don't ever want to go back to that dealer again. I have had all the fun buying a new truck that I can stand.
