According to this it is standard on every truck, and should be by the drivers right knee.

Absolutely correct. It was hidden from view by my USB music card. I'll try it tomorrow to see how it works....

Seriously, who needs that Aux-Input still?
I've no clue why Ram made it now in 2022 as a standard equipment when we would have needed it twenty years ago - and they refused then to give it to us. Stupid.

AH64ID and odinjunior were correct; it is an auto input jack. Can't find that in my owners manual. I took a picture of the back and it looked like it wasn't wired, so I thought it wasn't. Someone asked if I tested it, no so I probed it with no voltage but the radio came on. Found someone online that has a CD player plugged into it. I wonder if you could plug a CB remot auto into it and get the sound from the truck speakers? Thanks guys, mystery solved.

I understand it’s a TRS 3.5mm jack, which has 3 wires. TRRS should also work, but I don’t think the Uconnect supports microphone capability.

TRS = Tip - Ring - Sleeve. That's 3 wire as stated above for right, left and ground input. Is the old school way of connecting to the radio. Anything the has a headphone or speaker output could be connected. If you had an iPod or portable CD player prior to Bluetooth was the "thing". In my current truck, use the port for a Bluetooth receiver for phone connection to play music through 3.0 radio!
