Looking for single stand-alone EGT gauge that matches my 2015 Laramie Longhorn factory dash gauges.
Best I can find is the Auto Meter Factory Match for the '03-'09.
Any leads would be appreciated.
Yes, I searched the forums and came up empty.

Edge CTS3 and monitor EGT1. Add 10° per psi of boost to get an accurate indication of pre-turbo temps.

Monitor EGT3 for passive regen performance.
Thx,
I already have a monitor device in my EzLynk which uses the trucks built in EGT source. I don’t trust it’s accuracy.
My two piece BD manifold is tapped for a mechanical probe which I intend to use.
Maybe it’s ExLynk’s inaccuracy but, If I used your recipe for temp monitoring using the factory access, I would have burned this engine up along time ago.
Call me “old school” but I want mechanical readings.

What kinds of temps are you seeing? The OEM probes are very accurate, and it’s not any different form of reading than “old school”, the probe works the same.

Due to several reasons modern engines can, and intentionally do, run much hotter without issues. Maybe that’s what’s different?

Must be heavily modified then if you fear to burn it up.

You should tell that fact because otherwise it doesn't make sense to monitor EGT on an engine where the ECM itself monitors and regulates the EGT the way it wants them to be.
And derates if something is out of spec.

No need for mod details.
I'm just looking for a stand-alone gauge to match my factory gauges.
Just to satisfy my curiosity.
Can anyone help with that?
