2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission axle nut torque question

A buddy has a 2001 3500 with 4:11 RR and asked me to find the torque for the 8 - 1/2" or 9/16" bolts on the axle end cap.

Pretty sure my book says 90 ft. lbs. (1998 2500) Is there a difference in the years and being a 3500?

If one were to do the axle seal, are you guys replacing the metal? gasket that goes behind the axle flange?

90 ft/lbs for the 2500, I would guess the 3500 would be the same as well.
