Where is the vent for the Rear Axle on my 95 2500.

Everything is still stock.

My Pinon seal has a slow leak so if could find the Vent I would try it first.

the vent shold be on the axle tube where the brake line drops to the axle and Tee's off the vent tube is the bolt holding the Tee down

as far as the leak just change the seal if its a dana 70 or 80 they use shims for bearing preload and you just pull the yoke change the seal then put the yoke back on and torque to like 400 ft-lb on the 70 i thnk and on the 80 ist 440-500 ft lb i know that one cause i just did mine

Thanks Ken for the information.

Sounds like a quick and easy check.

I'm a ferm believer in the K. i. s. s method

of repair.

Ken,

Checked the Fluid Level and air came out when I removed the fill plug.

Used your lead and removed the Vent bolt and it was plugged.

Had to drill it to get the junk out its ok now.

Thanks for your help.
