AZ 1st Gen Friends Needed!

Hi Guys,



My wife and I recently moved to Chandler,AZ and I am looking for a few 1st Gen friends. We just bought a house and I haven't been able to acquire tools yet (my tool box was stolen prior to moving $3000. 00+ - ouch). I bought my truck about 5 months ago and it is the 1st - 1st Gen I have ever owned. It is all original and it great condition - Thanks Lou! I am looking to tweak a little more power and learn about it in the process. I would like to get into the TD "seen", meet some cool people, and have some fun in the process. Anyone??? Anyone?? Bueller?

If you are ever in the Tucson area send me an email. We use over a half dozen 1st geners in our business and am currently converting a 1985 crew to a cummins. I really enjoy the older trucks. We dont add lots of power however so I am not the man to ask about power mods. I enjoy the trucks as they are. Take care

Depends on the weather. We've been trying to get a Jeep run to Highway to Hell (Florence area) going, but the rains have killed it for the past several weeks (H2H is not a rain-friendly trail ), and that is one of the weekends that has been kicked around for another try.

Probably the best thing to do is to come up with a date when at least some of us are available and plan on getting together - it's easier to schedule if we have a day to put on the calendar.



What area is your aunt having the house built in? I'm on the northwest side (Ina/Thornydale area - not too far off the freeway).

My Aunt's house just gave me another reason to come down there (kill 2 birds with one stone). I believe it is in Green Valley... but it doesn't matter. I'll drive anywhere! Especially in my awesome 1st Gen. Let me know your schedule and I'll mark my calendar. I travel for work (back east) but the times vary. Let me know a date and I'll get back with ya. This is great! I am new to the area so I'll be looking to you guys for suggestions of where to meet. Any suggestions? I'll drive anywhere... . doesn't matter to me. I figure we could use the events area of TDR for posting the when,where, and what going forward. For our first meeting we could hang out and see each other's trucks and get to know everyone. Then going forward we could have an agenda or purpose for getting together. Like say, tuning Mike's TD, or injector pump 101, dyno days, etc... . What do you guys think? Anyone suggest a first meeting place?
