New tires for the gooseneck

I currently have a B&W gooseneck hitch in my truck and I'm trying to find a place to get the Companion add-on 5th wheel. Anyone know of a good place and price for just the Companion? All I can find anywhere is the WHOLE setup (gooseneck and 5th combined) or just the gooseneck part. The guy I bought my B&W turnover ball from (he's a wholesaler BTW) wanted $768 for just the Companion... ... ... I can get the whole deal new for $860 at the local RV shop:confused: Plus when I bought the goose part from him I paid $300..... So that would be a grand total of $1068:--) Someone has to have them cheaper!

cool. I've been trying to find one as well. My dealer wanted over $800 just for the companion. Gotta love Alaska's prices!

I just checked with a local shop here today... $699. 00 + tax for the companion. Anybody that uses this hitch, how do you like it?

I have one and it does a good job. Putting it in for use each time requires a torque wrench.

40 Ft. Lbs. of torque holds the assembly to the bed of your truck. Two ubolts holds the assembly to the square tube that goes into the gooseneck socket.

It can come apart in 3 pieces so that one person can handle it easily enough.

Just came back from a camping trip pulling my 5th wheel and love it. Works great and installs and removes very easly. Just torque it down to the correct lbs and away you go.
