I'm going to pick up the truck today. They replaced the entire radio so we will see how that goes. As far as the tires go, all they did was rebalance them. We will see how this goes. I'm not real hopeful as I have never seen a tire be unbalanced from the factory, let alone enough to shake the seat loose.

I'll let you know tonight.....

I was on an extended trip which included some 85mph posted speed limits on smooth road. Im starting to think this may have something to do with the Aisin, wonder if any of the 68RE guys are having this issue. wish I had thought of shifting back to 5th.... will have to try that. Also thinking of taking two of my heavy ratchet straps and compressing the rear suspension some to see if its an issue with driveline angles.
Has anyone experienced this vibration with a good load on the rear suspension?

Is this an Aisin issue, or a Cummins issue?

I know, apples to oranges, but I do not have any vibration issues with my '14. 3500 6.4 Hemi, 68RE trans, SRW, Long bed, Crew cab, 4x4, 3.73 axles, or as I am now calling it, the land barge.

BTW - where are you getting 85mph speed limits? Only place I can think of is Montana, but I thought that they did away with the US Autobon (sp) and standardized with the rest of the nation at 75mph.

Oh, yeah, now I remember something about that. It's a bypass around one of your major cities right?

ETA - Duh - click on the link and you shall know all.

Man I drive 85 everywhere.
Its the 130 toll road from Round Rock to San Antonio.. part of it is 80 and part is 85.
Anyway, back to the subject at hand, I would think if it was a Cummins issue everybody would be complaining. Seems the only people Ive heard of complaining are us dually guys. Could still be a Cummins thing, but I do not know of any dually Hemi guys to check with.
Everyone I have heard of so far has had the Aisin, but I do not know any 68RE guys either.

I will be towing for the 1st time this Sunday with my 14'. I will report back if my vibration is worse or better with driveline angle change with my gooseneck trailer in tow.

My shaking is there loaded or unloaded. The drive angle isn't the issue. I got the truck back yesterday. It seems to be a bit better but I was on some rough roads and by the time I got on smooth roads, I had weight in the bed of the truck. If I continue to have issues, I may look into removing the driveshaft and have it checked for balance.
