Zstroken, no problem buddy.

I just want to say one thing about drivelines. Going to a one piece is not stronger than sticking with a carrier bearing and two piece driveshaft. It is better to upgrade the carrier, u-joints and yokes, plus you would have to go with an insane wall thickness(wieght factor) for a one piece to handle the twisting forces being placed on it sled-pulling. I just wanted to say this because I have heard a few guys talking on here about one piece driveshafts and I just really don't agree.

Yeah, IMO keep the two piece go with larger International carrier bearing (#2104331X) all 1480 series joints get rid of that slip yoke fiiting and wieght for a bolt up assy with grade 8 hardware :D

Well I think the one pieces are quite a bit cheaper, and the carrier bearing assembly adds a good portion of weight. I have seen the one pieces hold up very well here, to even dually rear ends with lots of tire. A two piece would be fine, but I don't have a carrier bearing to deal with everytime I pull the transmission in and out, and fewer shields, and loops too. I think they both have pluses and minuses.

Uh oh. . If Justin can break his transfer case yoke, that means mine will break at one point. . I have the same yoke on my 271 tcase, but with a 1 piece shaft.

They were braking stuff to

I pulled in west union Oh last night. Terry martin mut this pull on and it was one awsome pull 4 classes of diesel trucks. I pulles in the proud gear and did not do so well but there was some trucks braking some drive shafts and The blue power stroke unlimited truck not shure his name I think broke a rear end or u jount. Drew humphery pulles in the open class and pulled it out so they reset the sled and he came back last hook and about 280 his transfer case desided to let go to and stuff went every where . So u were not the only one braking stuff. And Dan painter clutch wasent holding up he thought cause he was reving but wasent going to fas like usally. here was the standings from las night
