My Throttle linkage on my 95 is really worn and is now being held together with plastic wire ties. The sockets on the ends of the rods are almost non existent. I have consistantly over the years made idle adjustments to make up the difference that the balls were losing, "material diameter" and now my my transmission w/400,000 miles is shifting eratically and coming out of t/c lockup. I just wonder if this is what I am experiencing because the the bell crank doesn,t rotate far enough to send the correct signal (5v) to the computer to make the nessesary command for t/c lockup. If I play with it on the road with the pedal I CAN get it to behave somewhat. But I have already spent the money on the TPS and R&R item to absolutely no diff in performance. I know this is alot of miles on a transmission but it works so damn well when it gets the right input, I have taken great care with it and think I can get more out if I can pin it down and stop wasting my money and time.
