Tell me about it.....

Sacramento, CA:

Tuesday it hit 109*

Wednesday's forecast is for 111*

:{ :{ :{

I heard on last night's news that Death Valley hit 128* :--)

Supposed to hit 110 today in Healdsburg, 90 in San Francisco. (Healdsburg is about 80 miles north of Frisco for those who don't know the area) It will only last a couple of days and then the fog will come back in and cool things off here.

Tom, how hot is it up there in the hills?

Stan

Hell this is the coolest summer we have had around here in years, we are only expected to get to the mid 90's all week, but I guess the 30 plus inches of rain made up for that now didn't it????

:--)

Amen Kerry,

We suffered enough last summer... I'm enjoying the nice mild 95 degree Texas summer:cool:

Let see if I can compete. I was in Palm Springs yesterday @ 11:00 am and the computer said 113* then I went home and It topped out @ 115 for the day. Left on horseback at 5:30 pm and had an outside temp of 107* Got home about 9 pm and it was still 100* Woke up this morning @ 5:30 am and it was 99* Supposed to hit 115 with a 40% chance of rain today. I ready to move... ... ... ... ... ... ...

Me and you both... I know there is cooler temps somewhere! I am ready for winter. . at least I can put on a coat. We did some shopping at Costco last night and I noticed that they already have the winter coats out... It made me hotter just looking at them...

Rick

It's a dang good thing you guys don't have the humidity we have here. I've had people from the hotter dryer cities come to Houston and tell me it's hotter here than it is at home in ElPaso or Phoenix.

When it's 100º outside with almost 100% humidity, it downright unbearable.

It might rain today. It is heading this way. Then It will be 105* with rain coming down... . I can hardly wait... Wo hooo

I was raised in Arkansas... yea I know what humidity is. . I have seen 100* temp with 100% humidity... now that is hot. .

Rick

that wasn't me, that was Greg, he is the crazy one, I know better than to go horse back riding in 100 degree plus weather :D

I wonder what the heat index is for that humidity and temperature? Totally unbearable!!

It gets pretty hot for as far north as we are (same latitude as central Minnesota, Maine), but luckily it is a dry heat and usually the hot spells do not last long. It will stay 90+ for 10 or more days at a time but never above 100 for more than 3 days or so. Drive 220 miles West to Seattle and it is a completely different story, sometimes 30+ degrees cooler on a given day.

Hottest summer recently we saw nearly 30 days of triple digit temps, 3 above 110. Fortunately those 110 days are few and far between. Statistically Richland Wa is dead even with Sacramento as far as summer temps go.

Vaughn

We're having our 3 weeks of summer right now in 5000 ft elevation Montana, 82° with mid to upper 80s predicted for the rest of the week, humidity around 25%. Has it's drawbacks though, July is the only month that it for sure won't frost.

Illflem, Enjoy that nice weather!! I'll remember this this winter when it's 60 degrees here and minus 60 up there!!:D :D :D

Sorry Kerry, I was thinking that was you that went riding. Is Greg known to do these sort of things? :)
