The Bubble and the Bear

Lawn Care Question

Sure am glad I made it home before all that HOT hit the west. It was bad enough a couple of weeks ago when we spent the night in Miles City, Montana. What a dead place that was, nearly 100º and it didn't cool off during the night. One thing that amazed me about that place. . My water hose came apart from the excess pressure of it being exposed to the sun in that heat. It made quite a mess of my camp site before I noticed that it was leaking. I noticed the next morning that it didn't soak into the ground or dry up, which surprised me because the air was so dry.

Although Miles City was a dead town, I did get to try a great root beer. I think it was called Frost Top Root Beer. Anyone know here I can mailorder some?

Speaking of weather... We got rained on pretty good on the return trip, in North Dakota and Minnesota. The radio announced that they had 8" of rain in twelve hours, one inch per hour for most of the time it rained.

Man, I feel for you guys in the heat. I went out to start the truck this morning and the wait to start light actually stayed on. It's 59F right now, but it's only a matter of time before the 90's come back. Can't wait for Sept. :cool:

From The Coast

Wind = 0

Humidity = 40%

Temp = 67*

It gets hot during the day if the fog burns off.

We might even see low 70's:eek:

The best minds are working hard on a way to ship our sub 70's air to those of you in the warmer climates. I don't see why we cannot employ a pipeline like they use to move natural gas.

Be back, gotta grab a sweatshirt:D
