I am planning on installing a new mallory pump this weekend and the part store idiots have not been helpful in the least. I am running 3/8" id braided hose up to the filter and want to replace the banjo with a swept 90. The Tread size for the banjo bolt is 12-1. 5 course metric, but cannot find the part number on aeroquips website. Anyone have a clue? or something else that will work that I can get at the local part store tomarrow.

Thanks.

If you are using -6AN hose, you will need a Weber carb adapter, Earls part #991944, its a male-male fitting, 12mmX1. 5 on one end, -6AN on the other. You can thread these into the injection pump, and the inlet and outlet sides of the fuel filter housing. Then you can use a swept 90 hose end with a female -6AN to thread onto the carb adapters. Or you can get a swept 90 hose end with a male 12mmX1. 5 thread on it, meant to thread directly into a carb. You can get it in a banjo fitting also, both are for -6AN hose. These hose ends are Earls, but I don't know the part#'s offhand. Your best bet I think is to get your hands on an Earls catalog, decide what fittings are best for what you want to do, then call Summit, they have all this stuff in stock.

Unfortunately I have to do something else since I'm going to use -8AN instead.

I may be incorrect but it looks like Aeroquip offers a carb adapter that goes from 12mm x 1. 5 male thread to -06AN male thread.

It is on page 27 of their Performance Products catalog. It is blue Al anodized part. Packaged part number is FCM2116, I think that is a blister pack type setup, probably contains 4 or 8 fittings. If I have some time I am going to be stopping by an Aeroquip distributor this afternoon. I will check it out and see what the individual part number is.

Thanks for the help. I am picking up one adapter today and going to order the other ones online since part store around here seem to think that it is ok to not keep anything in stock. And they wonder why they are losing money to the internet.....
