Sorry but I could not help but tell this true story. In Houston Texas I was testing the TAG on a dyno at the time. Yes it is still in my truck because I like it. I do have some base numbers with my 03 HO six speed when it was welll!!, almost stock with an Aero turbine, 4" exhaust, a TAG and an Afe drop in filter with 4, 1" holes cut in the front of the stock air box. This was before either of the fueling boxes were tryed. With just 5500 miles on this new truck I was impressed and in my opinion, it was pretty darned strong. It sure wasn't 225 HP like I am reading in TDR. here lately. These #'s were taken with a Mustang brand name dyno and it was a very good multi run test. The tech guys were very savey. Best run, "almost stock" HP was 267 and torque was 502.
Without the fueling boxes this truck pulled an 11k lb 5 th wheel up some of the biggest mountains in the smoky's of Tenn. with out shifting to 5th except for just a few. I did not have guages at the time so I waited for the pyro before putting fuel boxes on. Now I wonder about some of these numbers that are being passed around because of maybe the itch to sell their products, naaw!. My rear tire pressures were 65 lbs (important) and there was a good strong fan blowing right at the grill and this truck was warmed up real good. That sounds pretty strong for just those previously mentioned mods but with either of the fueling boxes added on it performed seat of the pants real good. The EZ was set at the highest level and the pyro really climbed up there quick at WOT, under load, but so did the Banks. I am glad I waited for the gagues before trying out the boxes because I would have melted something in a hurry driving the way I did on that Tenn trip. I like the Banks because I don't want to run full high pressure on the rail all of the time and all I have to do is turn it up when I want to blow somebody away on a roll on. The Banks to me is worth it for reliability even though I have a 6 speed because when I pull my new 12klb 5th wheel I can tune in the best MPG and keep the exhaust temp under control. Some day when I want to throw away $120 for a second dyno then I'll publish the #'s. Anybody in Houston willing to pitch in would help. Both boxes are more than enough power to break something if you want to. I have a 325HP modified G 35 if I really want to burn up the road because it was designed for it. My two cents!
