Competition Dhra Rules??

I would like to give a huge shout out and thanks to the fine folks at PONCI'S DIESEL CENTER in Fortuna, CA. Talk about professional curtious service this place has got it going on. I was out of there in half the time I though it would have taken, and everything turned out perfectly, fits like a glove and looks great. I do a lot of fab work but I really impressed with Brads ability to look at or measure just once and the pieces fitting together perfectly not me I am usually measuring and cutting several times and still use a lot of filler wire. I couldn't be more happy with the outcome. No more catching the bell housing blanket on fire for me especially since the bell housing is coming back another 3/4" this weekend to make way for the Iron Giant III.

not bad---I'm curious to how far away the stack is from the windshield when you open the hood all the way???... ... ... ... ... ... . chris

seventy dollars for that?ouch. That folgers can is looking better and better or maybe a flapper. steve

$70 = stack hat kit with 2 hats

$18 = stack hats sold individually. ;)

Folgers cans will eventually leave VERY NASTY scratches on chrome stacks. I've see it on a buddies truck... . I'd rather have to wash the soot off then have my chrome scratched that bad.

Looks good Scott. I should have some good data in the future on the new and improved B/B.

I look at that pic of you drilling on the hood and flench then think about a Q/A guy standing there asking you why you don't have hearing protection and full eye protection on ;)

Scott,

Looking good man! Can't wait to see a video of it hooking up.

I heard that someone else is building a mod truck on the west coast so you might have some competition this year!

BBD- I have a few questions for you about your setup.

I am planning on going the same route you have just gone when I get my engine back monday from Haisleys Oo. Oo. Oo. I am still trying to figure out how I am going to do my setup. By the looks of it I will have a bit more room on/around the wheel well though because mine is going into a 88-98 GMC which is alot more open.

Anyway, my questions are- it looks like your small turbo is sitting pretty high now... did you turn the manifold over to make this work? I have been thinking about that but wasn't sure if it would work! Also, if you can tell me/us... what size of large charger are you running now? mine is just an HT3B and I measured the distance from the inner fender to the hood and I think I might just be able to sit it right on the inner fender so the stack comes up more at the back of the hood if I can and there for beable to run an air filter in the engine compartment. Also, when you run a setup like yours how is the large turbo supported?? I doubt its just hanging there!

Pretty much all I can think of right now!

Thanks in advance and great looking setup!!!

Great looking addition to the rig Scott. :D I want to go to something like that but the Highway Patrols wouldn't like me very much, not that they do now anyway. :-laf Sure is one heck of a simple exhaust.

Joe

Ryan you can just invert a normal manifold in order to move the small charger up.

It is extremely common on twin set-ups.

Wes
