Dak - BD Power

Well the inevitable "Murphy's Law" happened this morning at about 9:30am, the dyno lost a load sensor module after 2 runs on the darn thing

I can only imagine the disappointment that BD feels and definately feel for all the people who travelled any distance for the event...
You had to figure something was up when;
a) it was sunny with no rain in sight,
b) Piers and Steve were up to their burn-out tricks early in the morning, and
c) it was a GREAT turn out
#ad
then that s&*%head Murphy showed up to screw up the dyno

Oh well, life isn't all ups and downs, its about how you handle the downs to keep yourself up...
On the upside, there was some good information and products coming out of BD with the intro of a new Torque Convertor, with their version of a 'milled stator' (you have to see it to believe it) and the 'dual-surface' lockup clutch...
Steve, who has worked for DC for longer than he can remember, and his group have really come around in the trany bay and have made some radical improvements to the trany and valve bodies.
Lots of road tests and demo rides to show off the efficiency of the TC and power enhancements that Christian and Piers have been working on... add to that some good grub and good people I think we can give BD a 'B' for effort

but hey the dyno would have been nice...

Real BOMBers never get speeding tickets. . just a lot of warnings!
