Bob, it's part of what I showed you at the last get together at Rob's... at least I think I showed you.

I will just be happy not to have ten guys in the back of my truck again! I am shooting for 351hp, also, so looks like MikeR is gonna take the local honors so far at 352!

Maybe I should tow my flatbed trailer up... as a pre-emptive strike against leaving one of our precious Rams up there!

We won't be happy with our power until we leave shredded drivetrain parts on BD's floor! After this weekend,King Crimson will be ready for this! I'm shooting for 352hp!

Bob, you going to be there for the Dealer Daze thing?

I am hoping for a summer clutch arrival for my truck, maybe sooner.

Mike, I will be VERY interested in how your new South Bend clutch works out, as I have heard it is a good one!

As sick as this may sound, it would be cool to see something break on the dyno. Naturally, it would be a PSD, or better yet, a DMax. Speaking of which, it will be interesting to see if any of those aluminum-headed pieces of GM trash show up. WOuld be cool to see a STOCK Cummins or PSD show it up on the dyno!

HEHEH

This is going to be a VERY entertaining Dyno Daze!

Forgot to add one thing...

Rob, you may want to shedule the BOMBvoy for earlier... Remember how busy it was last time on the Dyno? It is going to be even worse this time. I would say make everything earlier by at least 30 mins.

Just a thought...

Evan... and a good thought it is! MikeR and I are trying to work out the logistics of that very idea. We discussed several options last Sunday.

Rob;
If we get there earlier does that mean they will start eariler than their posted start time??????? As I recall from last fall we got did not go in the BOMVOY and got there just before you guys and were still number 35. Just a question, not ment to p**s anyone off.

Tracy... we are checking into all of the procedures to procure a lower number on the dyno... I can't answer your question yet, although I do know that several people in the BOMBvoy had numbers in the high 20s and all thru the 30s.

That was the only complaint I heard last year... this thing is getting so big, we can't get enough dyno time.

Anyway, we are doing our best to figure something out... and the only way you could ever make me mad is to lie! Suggestions, etc are always welcome.

hey guys , i will be attending this gala event . i plan on being in the area the week before and will extend the trip to stay long enough to watch the numbers being laid down . wish i could bring my rig , but its a bit to big to get in my carry-on.

it would be cool if they didn't let people with under 300hp dyno. so we can see all the big boys dyno. then after the big dogs are done they can start the stock guys.

Any thoughts would be helpfull. #ad

Maybe only 300+ rear wheel HP first, anybody claiming 300+ & not making it has to... .

Rob:
I really do not have any positive suggestions because it takes time to hookup and unhook the trucks and that seemed to be the limiting factor last year IMHO. I guess my whole point was our BOMVOY alone could have over 30 trucks in it and with the others that will come solo there is just not enough time to get everyone on that wants a run. We were munber 35 I think last October and if I remember correctly it was around 2:00 pm. before we ran.

Letting the "big boys" run first is an option, but what about the "little guy" who just wants to get a baseline before BOMBSaway??????

i understand the stock guys want to run but it didn't seem like there was enough time for everyone. and i would much rather watch guys over 400 and 500hp run than watch guys with 200hp. i know it's not fair but this is kind of show how much bombing you have done. maybe guys that want to run on the dyno first have to pay a $50 anty. you could divide the money for the person with the most hp on #2 only and with drugs. i know i won't win but i would pay $50. or you could let the guys with over 350hp or 400hp go first. there will be a small amount of people over 400hp. either way it will be fun. you will not be able to make everybody happy.

maybe the guys that say they will make 300hp and don't will have to go and sit in a ford for a 30min punishment #ad

Jim... LMAO! Good one.
I will be first to say I will pass on the dyno and let others try it(aint sittin in no ford!). MikeR and I are trying to look at this from all angles to get more of us on it. We will keep ya posted. Any good ideas out there??

It would be nice if BD would host this event for 2 days instead of 1. I think it would pay for itself in upgrades sold on the second day. Maybe Friday and Saturday?

How about it Piers?

Hey Piers,

With the amouont of time being a problem, how about this... .
Stock power is out,of course except for the paying customers that get a before and after.

Since these seem to be the majority, trucks with mild mods(up to 300) can run up until say 12 noon.

From 12 noon and later, big guns only (of course the paying cutomers get priority).
