Arkansas?????

MAY MADNESS CB CHANNEL and HAM FREQ

We have to remember that the Mustang Dyno was brand new when we were there in October. I'm sure BD was going through a learning curve and this event will be alot smoother.

Like alot of other have said, there is alot more to BD Dyno Days than being on the dyno as stated above. My main interest is being with and meeting other TDR members.

Hi Country, come and join in the festivities! This will be something you can only experience in person! These memories are forever!

Hi Country, I have to agree with you. I was so excited about going, especially after the get together at Rob Hanson's house. This whining about the dyno is rediculous #ad
.
My excitement has now passed. I would be more than happy not to get in line for the dyno. If B-D wants to set minimum HP limits for there dyno, then they would lose customers. I am planning on 300 to 350HP when I am done. I have done what I could in the short time that I have owned it
(1-8-01), HP is next. Check Sig.

Thanks Gang;

I'm green with the jealous bug you get to go to Abbotsford for Dyno Days and you quibble about a long line. One of us decided to move 1500 miles down the road which makes a pleasant Saturday Bombvoy impossible.

I had a great time last year without making a pass on the dyno. I learned more about BD products (and others) in those few hours than I thought possible.

The reaction from the spud truck drivers around Mt Vernon was priceless, especially when they spied Steve in his Phord.

I think the secret to getting through the border without a search is to leave your canopy (called topper around here) at home.

Wish I could be with you

JE

John... I think you have said it all. I hope you and your family are doing well. Say hello to your son for me!

Have you BOMBed his truck yet?

Got him a set of NI-MH batteries to keep the tires turning. I think the next one will have to be a top fueler to save on those batteries!

I got the green light to start bombing this weekend. Never underestimate your wife. Mine is smart enough to know the difference between bombing and preventive maintenance. She just trusts me to not get carried away.

Hopefully, I can find a few other dieselers in the area to start swapping stories and have some Saturday get togethers this summer. I did locate a diesel specialty (performance) shop about 45 miles up the road from here. BD Products is one they advertise so maybe next dyno Days can mean a long weekend?

Have fun Gang!

Dave Perea told me last Saturday there will not be a Show-N-Shine at the April Dyno Days. #ad

I've been discussing with MikeR the prospect of The NW Powerstrokers joining the BOMBvoy to Abbotsford. I don't want anyone to feel like we're crashing the party, if you are uncomfortable with it just say so. We have 4 trucks that I'm pretty sure of at this point, would probably just about fill in the spaces of the guys that are going up on Friday.

Should be a great time, I'm getting anxious!
Steve

Hey Steve, I don't know... #ad

..... you know the PSDs would have to be at the back of the convoy #ad
... oh that's right, they'd end up there anyway (if we got in a hurry) #ad

Seriously, if your buddies are as cool as you I'd say, what the he!!

Steve... bring them along. Like a good (insert religion of your choice), I am always looking to convert the heathens!

See ya soon!

Okay we have a plan of attack #ad
We're auguring a hole outside the dyno bay right now to put in a lock down so we can secure the trucks to this via your reciever hitch, should prove much faster hookup times, also we won't hook up the tach pickup saving some more time, you'll get a HP read out but no torque readout. We're going to have several classes... stock, mildly bombed, seriously bombed & of cousre outrageous #ad
As people arrive they fill out an info sheet on their truck & place it in the applicable box of their class. Each class will have a set amount of time given to it, say two hours each class, unless there aren't enough trucks to fill that time slot then another class will have a bit more time. We will then have someone pull the info sheets out of the box & that will be the order in which that class runs. Please no sticking gum or tape to your info sheet so it sticks to the persons hands #ad
We're trying to make things as fair as possible for everyone. The guys that will be running the dyno have been working out at the local gym to increase their speed & stamina & have been practicing full speed hookups & disconnects #ad
See you all on the 21st #ad

So does this mean we will be back on for breakfast in Arlington? Let's hear some opinions from those that are going!

Wellers is just off I5, across from the Denny's restaurant. Its the Arlington exit, but you never get any closer to Arlington.

Exit number... I forget, but will look and post it!

Also, a thank you to BD and Piers for trying to make this event more fun each time. I appreciate the fact that you guys listen to our concerns...

Thanks Rob,
I wasn't sure if you were talking about a place in Arlington. Now it is chrystal clear. I go by there on the way to the races. You can see it from the interstate. Be seeing you there.

John,
We can try to catch up at the border #ad
. In fact maybe I can get them to hold up the group. Yeah, maybe call them up and let them know to watch out for a Black Ram carrying in a truck load of WHOOP-A$$... ... ON FRIDAY! #ad

Rob,
Good of you to try to help the disadvantaged #ad
.

As far as I'm concerned the breakfast wasn't necessary considering the goodies that BD had. I'm not against BSing over a cup of coffee but I sure don't need an omlette & all the fixins #ad
.

Whoop-A$$?? The energy drink from Jones Soda? I kid you not, there is a product out there similar to Red Bull called WhoopA$$! A lot of people at work have a can of their desk, usually with a note: "Don't make me open this!" #ad

Man this thread took off, took me 10 minutes to catch up #ad

So is breakfast at Wellers on or off?? I say we do it, my tummy will be mightily growly by then. With Piers' new plan of attack, it relieves some of the sense of urgency to get up there first. We don't want to humiliate the 'Strokers too much now, do we? #ad
