bd short shift choppy

I just put a bd short shift in yesterday and it is really choppy has a lot of slack in it and it having problems going into gear wont just slide in any help

I recently installed the short shifter and everything since has been positive. If I was in your situation the first thing I would suspect is that you somehow made a mistake during the installation. It would be simple enough to just take it all apart and redo the installation while referring back to the instructions.

My experience has been very positive so far with the short shifter. I would agree with what RTuvell says. Hope it works out for you, it is a nice improvement over stock.

It almost sounds like the plastic tip wasn't swapped or fell off. I hope you figure it out because it's a nice BOMB. (Not certain it's worth all the $$$, but it is nice)

the plate over the washer that holds the shifter in does the ears go up ur down

If you mean the sort of arched humps they go UP.
