So I had a BD transmission put in after my stock one gave out at 57000 with no real power adders! Now this thing shifts and makes a loud banging sound or popping. I am not sure if that is right. The guy that put it in is very good and reliable said the transmission is new and has to break in. Is that right or what? Also having trouble now with my bully dog but I will make that another post thanks.

does not sound right to me, i have a goerend trans and I put it in and shifts the same as day one and smooth... i am not sure what could be doing that... .

i know BD has GREAT tech support and they know their products. I would give them a call. i was having a problem with my super B turbo from them and they hung in there till the end to help me correct it. Give them a call and let us know what they say...

I had a BD automatic put in my 99 in 2004. From day one it would slam into 1st when going from park or reverse. When I say slam, I mean head snapping. I took it to BD and was given every excuse under the sun, from it was the rear end, so I had them check it, ($400. ) later the rear was fine but they replaced the discs. Then it was the brakes, which checked out ok. Then it was the springs. I was not about to have them change the springs, because then it would have been something else. My experience is that they DO NOT stand behind their products. I for one will NEVER buy another BD product. By the way, I traded in the 99 for my 05. . I just couldn't take it any more. Norton
