The above diagram shows the correct routing for a belt which goes around the a/c but the routing for the non-a/c belt is incorrect.
Correct routing for non-a/c belt: The belt should go from the bottom left of the crank, up the right side of the tensioner, over the alternator, down under the water pump. The rest of the diagram is correct. When routed this way the belt does not have to go behind the tensioner.
