Mudflap install update

Well, I was under the truck to drain the water collector of the fuel system and I found this.

The Passenger's side looks fine. The driver's side is definitely not right. There are no signs that it hit something. I'm guessing that it was installed improperly and bent while in use. What the heck is this part called? What do you think would have caused this?

Those are the sway bar end links. My y2k did that after many many miles. When that happened I started to get a metal to metal sound from the front end. They cost more than their worth to replace.



You may want to try loosening the top nut and rotate the link back to straight. While you tighten the nut back up make sure to hold the link in the proper position.
