Sunday the weather was 10 here so I went on a truck-spiffing binge and polished my Ram up all pretty
. I even gave it a good wax job and now it's looking
I worked on it so much I was sure it would rain yesterday, but there hasn't been a cloud in the sky since Saturday. . . wow.
I noticed last summer on my tailgate that the clearcoat is swirled really bad. It has really lost its lustre. I have no idea how it happened but evidently some dust or debris somehow got on my wax pad and did some abrasive damage to the paint.
I have tried a couple of different products without success at restoring the finish. I tried the fine scratch remover you can get at Schucks and even though it works great on fine scratches, it does nothing for swirled finishes.
I am wondering if anyone has a suggestion for anything else to try.
Thanks everyone.
Vaughn
